hmm...interesting, i have a 36ft on order, and asked about the clamps as i have a fibre glass hydra at the minute, and had no emd of clamp issues...i was told it was down to a bad batch of clamps?!

hope i dont have the same issues, as after 6 months, my fibre glass is no longer useable!! however, see another thread for more info.

issue with clamps is very very minor it only happens on one of mine i have got it sussed now so its not a problem and the good thing about clamps nipping ploe section when open i have found if it catchs on coony guttering the pole section does not collapse as the clamp is keeping it in place great pole no complaints

yeah i like them to - seeing as i bought the 31ft pole and got the 7ft free!  8)

when was that offer on?

Over christmas, it's gone now

I got my hydra ALLOY over xmas and there was no offer, are you sure it wasnt the glass fiber. as i know that was on offer
As i will phone up and ask why i didnt get the offer, as i bought a 7 FT for £49

i bought the poles just before xmas - cost me £190 inc vat n del for the 31ft alloy and got the 7ft alloy for free

I bought the 25ft in November. A great pole for money even though I've had to glue some of sections because they came off. Also had some new clamps as others were rubbish.
