I have a 25 foot Hybrid carbon/glass fibre pole that I have'nt used for months until yesterday,it cost me around £250.00,it's a good pole or thats what I thought until I tried the Brodex Hydra alloy pole.
Like I say I have'nt used the carbon/glass fibre pole for months now and I thought that was quite rigid until I used it yesterday and it has nothing on the Brodex one, infact I think it's a rubbish pole compared to the 25 foot alloy from Brodex which cost me half the price,it just goes to show you don't always get what you pay for  ;)

We have two Hydra 18 ft poles and the lads swear by them.  I have an 18 ft Prolong that I've had for about three years now, still as good as new.

Say what you like about Brodex, these poles are the bees knees.

How light is the hydra?

Are the sections as short as the hybrid? Because the hybrid is good for three stories and downstairs because the sections are short.
