If that is the case look at the plug (the 3 pin) and on the back it should tell you the polarity of the plug with a little symbol look to the right of this page and in the box you will see what I mean. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polarity_symbols
Now you need a 9v battery clip like this

You have now Just made your CCTV Mobile do the above the same for the monitor but try to use a larger battery and connectors because the monitor will take more power and a 9v battery wouldn't last you long, You can use 12v with the camera and monitor.
