Good Place for leaflets?
« on: February 14, 2010, 10:03:36 pm »
Thinking once my new thick leaflets come this week I will do some Hand to Hand marketing. Outside Waitrose, Marks & Sparks and John Lewis Etc.

Did think of trying to get to hand them out in store for a free clean. Would be like canvassing getting to meet people without going to loads of doors. And the amount of people you would see?

Maybe a silly idea, just trying to get ideas.

Any one have any idea's or experience in this, or any idea on the sort of shops I could try and get them into, on the counter sort of thing?
Just some general stuff really.
Going to put a big drive into this now.

the downside of this is that you could end up with houses dotted around everywhere

I can see that, But I have work all over my town. my work is in a 6 mile radius, So getting bits here and there in that does not really matter.
Could then work around this whilst slipping them in with jobs in the said area already.

I am doing this,

But looking outside the box in addition may have a good outcome.

Was thinking of car windows. But it annoys me when people do this to me, so was a bit funny about it.

Thought on the counters of the right shops it could be good, and meeting people looking smart in trousers etc could be good.

I use to have a small pile of business cards on the counter of a petrol station in my town, I picked up 28 customers from this, the down side is other window cleaners used to nick them, so it was the case of putting them on the counter about 5pm on a Friday night.

Down here there's a petrol station that I was going to ask if I could do the same.
Also the house that faces you when you exit the petrol station has advertising boards on their fence so I was going to ask about this too.

Many shops have notice boards up in there shops they take a post card size advert.I have them in Pitza shops ,chippies newes agents super markets etc.Keep your eyes open. Many rental and estate agents give a pack to new sold house and new renters, Ask them to put is a post card size card in offer 3 cleans and then fourth at half price.then increase price or quotes by 12.5 % to accomadate this freebee.
