Hey all,

I'm just setting up, and need a bit of advice.

I'm currently writing all of my customers in a diary to keep track of my jobs.

I want to ask, what kind of window cleaning software do you guys use? I've downloaded a trial version of 'George' and played about with it, but wondered if there's anything better out there?

Also, I'm trying to think of a more professional way to leave receipts/invoices once I've done a job. I bought a little receipt book to get me started but I want something more personalised, maybe a business card or something similar. Obviously thinking about keeping the cost to a minimum here too.

Do you also use quote slips too?

I've also seen for sale these WFP documents, that explain how the system works... does anyone give these to new customers?

i never give custy notice i was changing, just did it  only 1 complain she was a pain anyway,  dont think custys are bothered to be honest

the only note i give my custys, is ur windows have been cleaned to day and when i will be back for money,  i give this with 1 of my flyers, seems to work for me,

i just print off my work sheet for month, that way i can change order if need be

We are using window cleaner pro, and really like it - we tried George (another software program) but didn't like it.

Been using George for many years now.  Does everything I need as a sole operator and so easy to use - no real learning curve.  My accountant really likes the reports George produces for end of year etc.

I use george, have done last 2 years. Also have it on a palm Z22. When i get home all i do is a hot sync and all the work is transferred on to computer within seconds.
