well only this week i switched from what you might call full time to part time. Ive just found it so hard to find any work over the last month or 2. So to ensure that i have guarunteed money at the end of the week i started a caretaker job in local nursery, its 17 1/2 hours a week so it still leaves plenty of time to continue my window cleaning.

Are you sure that question isn't too personal?   ;D ;D ;D

Full time, which means I don't have other sources of income but rarely work a 40 hour week, more like 30 so some would view it as part time.

work 9am til 2pm . so guess that counts as part time. but I don't do anything else. have a waiting list of customers I try to fit in, but once 2pm comes thats it i'm done. worked 12hour days in the print, never again. window cleaning is hard graft but i 'll take 5 hours over 12

i have a full time job, always have but i work shifts so i fit my windows in around that, my full time job is an electrical mechanical maintenence man ;D

I did some security work when I first started window cleaning (oh and I also worked one weekend humping  bags for Royal Mail which was an eye-opener; but I seriously couldn't hack doing that for a living), and I found it tough trying to fit window cleaning in with another job.

I was permanently knackered, though much of this was down to my inexperience as a window cleaner.

Don't you find trying to work window cleaning during what should be your 'rest time' demanding?

to be honest tosh, no, if i never had other work i would go mad, i am a bit strange in the fact that i love working, since i was 16 years of age i have had 2 job,s , only time i never was when i was a lift engineer as i worked away a lot. I regulary do 14 hour days some weeks and feel great, my shifts allow me to spend more time with my son as well because i only do the windows when he is in nursery so i would therefore just be sitting at home. i work a 3 shift rota of Lates earlies nights. never feel tired even if i only have 4 hours sleep.  :o. got another kid coming in june so it may all change ;D

Full time here - start around 5.00am, finish around 2.30 / 3pm to have time for the gym ( my little sanctuary ;) ).

I always make sure I have Sundays off; Saturdays too if I can, so I can get in a fishing match ;D.

i work 8 ish till 1 ish when im on lates, i then go to work from 2.30 till 10.30. if im on nights i can work pretty much when i like as i get me sleep around my cleaning schedule, plus most night shifts are quiet so i find my eyes have a rest in work ;D. when i work earlies 6.30-2.30 then i only have a few jobs to do after 3.

As ive said previously i enjoy my work, dont think id have it any other way and we can also include some nice things in life.  ;D

i was a drummer for years as well as window cleaning, playing in various bands over the years! ;D ;Dbut i just stick to the window cleaning now.too old for gigging and lugging equipment about and late nights!

i do on average 25-30 hours a week on the glass so to speak, throw in collecting/paperwork and i would call that a full time job.(for me anyway!) ;D ;D

best wishes to you all
