i have always worked on not giving custys my phone number as i find they phone to say leave it this time see you next time or can i cancel them but sometimes yuo have to give it to them it just makes it to easy for them if they are a bit skint otherwise i would just say double up next time at least you have done the clean
no been in the game for thirteen years dont get me wrong we have buissnes card with our numbr on them what i am saying is when they get hold of your number thy hound you ver daft stuff like going on holiday leave them til next time and its raining leave them ust penny pinching we ave a uniform with our number on it i have two lads who work for me
my customers all have my number and i always put the time i finished their clean on any slip i leave at their house. you never know if there might be a burglary or somebody assaulted on that street later on the same day and best you have nothing to hide and are easy to get hold of
why would i lie about the time i was there? im not really sure as to why i started putting the time on my slips , i think i started doing it about a year ago when the helicopter was directly overhead ,a knee jerk reaction . nobodys ever commented on me writing it but im now in the habit of looking into my car at the clock.

What I meant was, if you were the sort of person to do something dodgy, the fact that you put the time on could make it look like you have something to hide - which is the opposite to what you are intending.
I just cannot believe you would not have phone number on paper work or van or avoid been contacted. It just amazing your cannot be a business never mind a professional.I always ask myself what would Jonh Lewis or M&S do so aften I do not want to bee in there in there business. But I want to be as professional. As far as puting time on a invoice. I think its not needed .The reason I would not The poeple I service are my customes not my boss and there for they do not need to know at what time I was there just that I have been there.By putting on time you are seeding power to your customer and will get more poo from them.If the custimer wanted to question my time. It would be questioning my integraty and I would not stand for that. I would tackfully explane this to them.If they cannot trust me then I am afraid to end of relationship.( sorry for typos typing in the dark)
