Raising modular poles Q

Have got my modular pole, but wanted some advise on the technique of how to raise it.
I'm finding it a little difficult raising the sections between 1st and 2nd floor windows and thought someone could give me a tip or two

I don't use a trolley, so its up the wall I go. Will probably get through some goosenecks that way, hey ho
How about storing the sections in the van ? I'm short on space at the moment because of having 2 seats in there for the little monsters.
