N. Ireland cc looking for help
« on: January 18, 2010, 08:09:43 pm »
Hi,
I have just started a cleaning business in co. Down n. Ireland  a couple of months ago carpet cleaning being one of my services.
I was wondering would it be a good idea for me to try and look for a cc outside of my area to tag along with maybe for 1 day a week to get a proper feel of this side of the business and give mw some insight. What do you all think of this idea?

I'm a newbie to CC and would recommend you do just that.

I have been out with a couple of the guys on this forum and found the experience wholly worth while and picked up as much knowledge from thm as you can get at most training courses

I just posted on this section, asking if anyone would be prepared to take me out.

I have been out with Mark Powell and Doctor Carpet both quite local but far enough away from me for it not to be a problem if you know what I mean.

Hi Peter
You have posted in the right section for the help you are asking for.

I commend you for filling in your profile too. Many new ones just give the barest information and expect lots of help.

Perhaps you could tell us what experience and training you have in carpet cleaning, and also what equipment you currently have.

I have a prochem steempro powermax and went on the 1 day training coarse. I feel the coarse is very basic and am thinking of taking the upholstery coarse also as I have no training in this area.
I also use a rur doctor for the car valeting service I provide.
