Soon be out of my leather cleaner - usually get mine from LTT but just before i do again just seeing what everyone else uses? anyone have a different favourite leather cleaner? have heard rumours on here of another fantastic leather cleaner but the name of it wasnt forthcoming on the other post even though it was aked for many times!

Jason, you can ask 3 or 50 times the answer is the same.

Yes there is a new cleaner but it is not openly available.

LTT's strong cleaner is very good and will do what you need.

I wouldn't look beyond LTT and you can always get tips from Andy Alcock if you have a problem job.

turns out Mr Moss that i can indeed join your exclusive club! your supplier contacted me by PM! delivery time is a pain though and i appreciate the support from LTT so think maybe best to stick with what i know.

Anyone used their maxi cleaner or alchohol cleaner on dye transfer and with what sort of results?

I found maxi cleaner to be no different than any other cleaners I have used, if it's bad you may need special sponge but it really needs training to use as I have taken finish off with one so there is a technique to it.

Hi Jason

The only time I use LTT maxi cleaner is for dye transfer, usually get good results.

I use gloves though as the first time I used it I got a reaction.

lol, i am getting me some maxi - sounds better than viagra!!

anyone tried the alchohol cleaner? - LTT said good as a last resort on dye if maxi fails and would be last attempt before resigning to restore and colour

You can get some good creams fore skin reactions now

If you use too much alcohol then you may take the top coat finish from leather providing it is pigmented.

Actually Jason it turns out that you can't join the exclusive club as I decide who can

The supplier would not contact you as they are not directly  linked to our industy and they certainly do not use any forums.
Also you cant pm on this forum.
Regarding delivery times, I can phone the order through and have it delivered next day

Why bother mentioning it in the first place then.
Doesn't make sales sense anyway, surely they want it out there on sale
so they can make a profit?
Or is it just a myth.
