I was forced to take a break from the internet for a month, so was cured from ciu addiction.
Having returned it all looks different - just full of back stabbing, stupid posts, repeated posts and general drivel. Has the section on 'anything but windowcleaning' been moved?

Is it me or maybe lack of mods?

If it's me then maybe it's time to move on.  :-\
Having read this thread, I have to say yes  ;D.
We need more fighting, more Stephen (ph not a v) S, more Gary Mallett, more posters pretending to be women......

How deeps the snow Tony now?

We're just now having our first thaw in over 3 weeks!! on the ground is still 2.5ft but it's at least coming off the roofs, cars, trees etc. ;)

Feen (who posts on here) brought me some heat logs for our multifuel stove yesterday after reading my post the other day. It's our source of central heating & hot water. he has a 4x4 for his wfp work & it saved my butt!! Big thanks to him. ;)

thats jolly decent of him  ;) he will have good karma  ;)

It does go in phases.

It was good years ago, then last year went downhill, only to pick up again recently.
Now it's looking on the slide again.

As a relative newbie, there seems much less bitching and bullsh*t than many other forums I've been on.It's pretty obvious that there's 'history',shall we say, between one or two members, but whenever I've needed advice somebody's always come up trumps. :)

I'm a bit of a newcomer. Only been on here 18 months or so. I was addicted at first. Now I dip in from time to time.

Personally, I think it's a bit like mining for diamonds. You've got to shift an awful lot of crap before you find the few gems you're looking for.

I don't think it has changed either. It just cycles.
There has got to be loads more abuse heaped onto someone before it beats the personal abuse that matt had received from the 'professional wfp'ers.'
I think he even now heads the personal attack charts. And he's had an easy ride this last 3 or 4 years.  ;D

I think this forum has down a great job. Its alive and kicking. There will always be controversity as we are all coming from different places in out lives and business .Each need is different. We to bring different experances, skills and knowlage to the table. I spend time on other forums and believe me they would give there left knack for even half the volume of traffic. I thing there is a need for a next step on the rung of this forum for advanced window cleaning guys ,but then we will miss out on all the experience of the long serving members. there comes a time were we ash yourself what we want out of this forum and a break might be in order. The are other forums that will not discuss what newbie’s need to know and that defeats the objects.
I think we do need more than 2 Mods it’s a lot of time for any sainwqell balanced person to be on this forum all the time, but I do feel the mods do a great job. I will be first to compliment them on a task well down.
THE QUESTION IS WHAT CAN YOU BRING TO YOUR FORUM ,not what you can take ( that’s a bonus)

Not sure if this Forum ever went very far up the hill in the first place to go downhill. :-\

I've given a little and taken a little from it over the years.  There's been many useful exchanges, and some good humour.

I would miss it if it was gone...

But I wouldn't pay to join it ;D

I've met some nice guys from here.

Some are very articulate on here, some not.  It's not possible to judge the real character just from here.

For instance, when Dave Morris met me he said he expected me to be a bit of a nerd, but as it turned out he's a bit of a nerd! ;D

I think we could do with another mod. Over on non-cleaning issues we've had Sarah Sarill named for years but shes never here posting let alone moderating.

Nothing against Sarah mind, perfectly pleasant lady but just never here!
It's a game of three halves!
