Have you noticed the irony that the sticky about finding admin is still there. The first thing this guy must do is take this stupid post off and prevent further idiotic musings being allowed to stay at the top of the current list for weeks on end while they contain no inherent merit. Leaving it there is just lazy and rude. There have been other similar things in the past and it's clear the guy neither reads nor has any real interest in us other than as a resource.

It was a joke. I'm always digging at you but you are indeed very helpful.From your injured tone i seem to have peed you right off but that wasn't my intention. It's hard to say you do a good job as a mod etc without sounding as if i am trying to be sarcastic but i nearly always agree with your actions.

Matt you have been a bit over sensitive at times too. To some degree posting on here at all is a waste of time, and i can remember several times when you questioned alex's motivation (he wanted to sell things). Alex has probably stopped a very time consuming habit and who knows might even want to thank ewan for being the straw that broke the camels back.

Of course if Dave ever stopped because of idiots, and the implication was that i was one of the idiots i would be very embarrased and not very pleased with myself.

i had no real issues with Alex, he helped me out when my sub-pump packed in, he was a helpfull bloke to many many others, he designs and manufactures things ( the SL2, is still a glorified fishing pole though ) BUT he was on here to sell things to us, it was the same as Andrew mccann, he was a hero and people loved him, he got established with the purefreedom sack truck and then backed off and we didnt see him much, before him was the irioncs lot ( many years ago ) its not a bad thing though, but they have a motive

When i first started w/c 12 months ago and was completly new to it all and when i changed to wfp i asked question after question after question.  Everyone gave there views whether it be negitve/positive whatever. On mixed views i make my choices and 12 months on still standing so to me everyone who answered my questions stands out.  If that makes any sense

Give a dog a bad name eh?  I haven't had a fight for ages, and plan to keep it that way.  Its not good for my karma and all that; but I do like the odd wind-up. 

 

I guess I like different posters for different sorts of advice.  For technical stuff, Matt is spot on.  His tips are sensibly priced, no nonsense and work.

For aspirational advice I like Mr St Ives.  I remember when he first arrived on the forum arguing 'cos he preferred wearing jeans and not shaving for work; still on ladders and being a bit of a lad.  He's transformed his business in what, five years?

I like most anything that Gold writes, he's fairly funny and its all well written.

To remind me how old I'm getting I like Wayno1's posts.  His lolspeak makes me laugh.

Master Bateman makes me laugh too.  He's a bit like me in that he's often sensible, then at other times just loses the plot.

I like Squeaky, he's a lot of things, but he's honest (except when he's going on about all these birds lining up for him ) and there's probably many guys in his position, but aren't brave enough to post about it for fear of getting the mick ripped out of them.

I can't think of any posters I actively dislike, even the guys who like to brag and try and do it either directly or side-on make me smile, so I like just about everything I read on this forum.
