If it makes you feel any better matt, I reversed the van into my MIL's SLK a few months back.

Now that cost 2 arms and both legs ill tell you that !

Van has a dink in the metal bumper, the slk was a mess.

She was watching me when I did it too.

Hope you feel a little better about your situation now

Are you volunteering to come round and repair it Neil?  ;D

No. but i'm volunteering to come around and borrow your water heating system, as you now have little use for it ;D ;D

Just spoke to the garage.

They reckon it MIGHT be just a bent wishbone. Which if thats the case is a result.

£100 + new wheel and tyre.

Cant really tell til its replaced and try to drive it.

Cant get any parts at the mo as no deliveries.

That's a pain, Matt.

I just want to hibernate till all this weather improves, so I think I'll learn by your lesson and only do vital journeys only.

I hope it's on the nicer side of £500 for you.

Just went out to tesco and I'd say a good 10% of cars were smacking the kirbs as they were going round corners or pulling out of T junctions.

All sorted  ;D

So long as theres no other damage underneath. Mechanic didnt think so.

Cost £130 so far, need to get a new wheel and tyre yet.

Sorry to hear that Matt - fortunately not as expensive as it might have been.  Modern vehicles are pretty robust.

No safe way of me working either so planning some local (walking distance) leaflet dropping next week - could do with a few more really local jobs.

I've got a pair of Doc Martins Safety Boots and they grip like hell in the snow and ice so i feel quite confident - but not TOO confident  :)

A DVD from you?

From what youve let on about yourself it'll probably be a gay scat DVD.

Each to their own but thats not my preference mate.
