a trigger will do that.

what tap do you have ?

There is not a TAP on the market yet made for use, we use plumbing ones that dont last as cant be knocked about, so as good as a chocolate tea pot after a few rounds with my guys or me

yes mine is a plumbing tap . well i think its a gas tap , big yellow handle had to grind it down .
i know what you meen a trigger but are they any good .

imo i must be not to know that anyway whats the answer to our tap problem , im going to invent somthing for this and make a million, no more freezing my balls off on days like this

This is by far the best thing I have found. Remove black tube and slide over pole hose, other end the microbore plugs in with Rectus 21 connector. Use cable ties to tie to pole.

Here is a switch that is for use with tubing and water with your on/off capabilities,  I think it may be the same type as Peter Fogwell uses on his auto brush.

No I don't Ian, that's why I showed the piccy's, you can see the in/out lets of the switch.

The best place to pick these switches up from is a Hydraulics company, if not pick Peter Fogwells brains or ask someone to take a piccy of the auto brush, I'm 99% sure he uses the same type in there.

Lads those switches are almost impossible to get hold of. The cheapest one I came across after days of searching was a place in Glasgow at £56. Posted a link to the supplier on another forum as no one would believe the cost.The autobrush switch is American, I emailed the company whos name is on the back of the switch but never recieved any replies.
You may have better luck than I did if you do search. They are called manual toggle flow switches. Let me know if you find one.

Gardiners have a small tap you fit inline on your pole hose and clip to your pole.

i was thinking more like a small button type ,

we use the gardiner one its push fit so no messing with nuts and olives etc like we used to its very light and easy enough to tape to the pole
