« on: November 27, 2009, 06:14:22 pm »
Do any of you use these?

do they get in the way, and dont you trip over the loose pole hose?

and does the tap not drip down your leg?

Yes
You get used to it
No
I've tried triggers, taps fitted to the pole and remote and fid the tap on a belt the best for my use.

I use a tap on a belt,I find that you can use different poles for different heights without changing or buying another trigger for another pole etc.

Heres what I have Gazza, bit blurry sorry, but you can make out how things are on it. The yellow is 38mm hosepipe used to pad the tap so the cable ties dont damage the pole.

Sort of.

The tap is attached to a harness that i put my head and arm into. The harness is made from hose with nylon cord inside.

So, arrive at job, get out of van open side door.Grab pole, and put webbing/harness across my chest.Walk to glass.15 seconds max.

The advanage is speed because the van hose follows me, and similarly when walking back to the van the hose is with me.
