With the right attitude and work ethos, a good employ would soon be on £30-£40k with JV, which is way more than the average one man band will take home net.

I would pay £30k to the right man any day of the week, they would have to prove themselves first though.

Yeah, but they would have to work their nuts off in all weathers, work lots of hours over 6 days a week & be left with very little personal freedom!
Might suit some, not me though.

Do you think I have a stalker ?

I am getting worried, some guy knows everything about me to the point of obsession, he can even read thought i didnt know i had.

Do I call the police ?

 ;D

Yep.  Defo phone the old bill Dave.   ;D
Funnily enough, I get a few calls for the old bill down your way.  My 0845 number is vaguely similar to the one used by Devon and Cornwall police.  So if you do ring the old bill, you may just end up phoning me  :)

JV staff work 48 hours a week and if they are on £40K a year, which is unlikely take home pay would be about £12per hour average £96 a day, over 6 day week.

Ewan,

What was the point in you posting on this thread ??? ???

Quotes like this astound me they really do  :-\ :-\.

Ewan

In the real world £30-£40,000 per year is an outstanding job especially without the headache of being self employed or running a business.

In this little crazy world of CIU though there are many people, including yourself who are convinced that they are worth £100,000 per year.

Im sorry to burst the bubble Ewan but you arent  :-* :-*

I thought that was obvious, it‘s in response to Dave post. But also giving the impression employed window cleaners earn £30-40k as if it is a walk in the park is misleading.

Agreed

That's why I put my post on, just to clarify what Dave meant by "work ethos" & "attitude"

What JV. Price is offering though is a good employment prospect for a none window cleaner to be employed, or even a w/c that preferes employment- I'm not knocking that at all.

But, as said, to achieve what Dave casually described would not come easy! ;)

Knowing Ewan as I do ;) I'd say that is the most clear post I've ever seen him put on here.

Dean, good points there, but have you thought about working as a WC for someone else? Would you work as a WC for a set wage? Having someone else decide if you can have time off, and when you can have it? Working a custy knowing it pays a good price but you only get some of it. In what "Job" do you get paid exactly what you are worth?

Would you really like working 6 days a week? If being self employed is so much of a headache, why do it?

There are blokes on here that were in high earning high stress jobs. they left these jobs to work for themselves. I wonder why.

Just thought I should mention the other side of the coin. No windup intended.

Cozy,

I know what you are saying but I didnt reply to the post to start as I dont want the job,

Thats what im getting at mate.

As for people questioning why charlie as put the thread up its mental,

Just a few weeks ago Gazzasp8 was asking for a work place for his step son and ive seen many others who have asked for a placement.

Its crazy how people love the chance to show off, as for ewan saying 30-40k per year is a P-take????

Ive worked on the minimum wage when it was £4.50 ph stacking tyres for michelin....that is a P-take.

It is a public forum though and people are entitled to their opinion....no matter how stupid it is......

Any way I think its nearly pear cider time.

Do social workers seriously get trained, training in what, how to say no to every family in need, how to fob familys off that there doing all they can but yet 4 years down the line they still promise things will get sorted, sorry Ian just having bad time with our services and wouldnt wish any of it on anyone but ah the stuff will hit the fan soon  ;D

I’m just questioning the issue that earning £40k a year as an employed window cleaner is not the norm. So to talk about it casually as if were true, is a p- take, bit like me saying I’m self employed earning window cleaner earning £100,000 a year.   ;D

Very calm response for you Ewan! ;D
