I've been using the flocked version for some time now but have decided to go back to the dual trim mono version. Why is it that the splay characteristics are totally different? It feels very scratchy and won't splay so well. Will there be a softer version one day.
Or am I imagining things.

I'll have you know 'Ant' I can walk the whole length of B&Q, Wikes, Focus and any superstore these days without the need to fondle the brushes on the way!

You are not imagining things, they have different diameter bristle strand sizes.  The flocked uses .02mm thinner bristles than the mono-filament.

Have you experimented with softer dual trims Alex? Or is there no need.

For day in day out regular domestic cleans is the dt flocked the best choice? Its what i use but wondered if any of the other Superlites were an alternative?

I really think any softer than the current flocked dual trim would just be too soft.  I have played around with various formulas and personally am happy with where we are now.  Do you have the latest version of the flocked dual trim as the latest version (5-6 weeks) has increased angle of splay on the outer bristles making it feel a lot softer.  We also have the same angle of splay on the latest mono-filament dual trims with the same effect.

I would say the latest flocked dual trim is the best choice for this type of work.

I think I probably have the latest flocked but have been having some problems with spotting and leaving trails of spots behind - my view being that the flagged ends hold too much dirt and if left trailing the glass they contaminate the water. I like the action of the flocked but prefer the rinsability of the mono.   Fussy aren't I?

We will be bringing out a 650ish litre van mount system.  These will be of a completely unique design, fully crash-tested and would cost about £2800 for the RO version unfitted (+VAT).

Yes it does.  It fits all poles/goosenecks that have a standard European screw thread.

Not according to Mrs Gardiner  - 5 kids in the house is enough!  We are hoping to offer fitting facilities in over 50 locations throughout the UK so hopefully there will be one within 40 miles of you.
