You always put up good posts rob (Mclean) and have a fresh approach.

I would be too much of a coward to ditch the monster as you have done.At least you got to live local and had a mad money machine.

My monster can be a bit stressfull.I get angry phone calls and customers who follow me around and moan.Sometimes it makes me depressed, and i mull over annoying things the customers have done or said when i should be asleep. My pet annoyance is when i have brought life changing window cleaning into their lives, transforming a not cleaned in years minging hovel into a virtual show home, only to find that by clean three they are finding fault and picking me up on the smallest details (small pre existing varnish stains is one example)You are of course correct about recomendation.

How does your being away from home work? what would a typical week or month be like? I know that you have mentioned towing a caravan before.Do you watch telly? go to the pub?Work/sleep go back?

Slump step back a bit, and dont let the indifference of some of your customers let you lose sight of your primary goal.

Its not personal, its strictly business. You run it, it doesnt run you, but beware it will if you let it.

Good luck,

Mark

Congratulations Ronnie

Enjoy the big pay days. I have had and get days where I wonder what I have done right in this world to earn far more than I could have earned in a month, (when I worked in a warehouse) for one days work.

Remain humble about those days and hold onto them lightly. Use those days to boost your self value but never rely on them!!
