What is your experience with those banks?
Im with HSBC at the moment but they charge too much and those 2 above do free business banking if you deposit less then 100 cheque or £3000 cash to your account per month.

We've recently moved to Alliance&Leicester we pay funds in via our local post office, you have to put cheques in an envelope to the cashier which gets posted off & they deposit the cash. Can be a bit more time consuming, but its worth the extra few minutes to not have to pay bank charges we were with Lloyds & were charging us to deposit cash  >:(

If you in the FSB then the Coop is a good deal.
They dont charge silly prices if you not in the FSB.

However I have just changed from Coop (thro the FSB) to Alliance & Leicester and it working ok.
Got a courtesy call from them today as I have been with them 3 months - they just checking all ok.

Few reasons
main one I suppose is that there was a few little charges creeping in. I had to fax a sheet at the end of the month to pay wages by the BACS system. Once or twice they said they had not received it  by within the slotted time - when I knew I sent it. Now with A&L I can do it all on line and get confirmation its received.
