I cleared out my van last week and got the measuring tape out its a swb traffic type it worked out i could get a prowler,400litre tank, hose reel, powerflight and still keep most of my shelving also room for a vac and some small things to and should be just under the weight limit but if i couldnt fit the hose reel in i was just going to wait and get a bigger van.To be honest iam not bothered about loosing space sick of friends and neighbours wanting favours done there was one last week double bed the guy wouldny pay the £25 delivery charge so he asked me to collect it pain in the arse.

Almost finished kitting out my Hiace, just needs a few shelve on the back right,

truckmount vac reel tanks, Recoil, envirodri, hoover wands . and hand tools and sprayers.

Still loads of space for rotary and dry steam machine for curtains etc

Love the shelves on the left - even with a little hole cut into it for your tools - very nifty ! (sorry a very female comment)!

A place for everything, and everything in its place. Maybe i was female in a former life (ssshhhiver)  :)
do like a tidy van, yes CFR tools fit nicely in holes, really snug fit, dont bounce out.

It's coming along Andrew.

I think having a belly tank makes a big difference space wise. If you have the hieght, ie a good gap between the machine and the roof. Has anybody mentioned that to you as a potential problem Andrew?

Not heard of any probs Mike, however you got me thinking now.

Suppose there could be temp probs as hot air rises, however i will have all doors open and tailgate up, so plenty of cool northern air thru it should help.

Was there a prob you can see or that you have heard of.

Regards

Thanks Clinton, yes Daves set up is the best i have seen.

Have placed one inch insulation under and behind new flooring etc, then fitted Altro flooring which goes up the sides slightly, then placed on the wheel arches, and then sealed all outer edges, so when i fill up and forget to turn off, all water runs out of back doors and washes van floor  ;D

Andrew I don't think it's major, just reduce performance a bit maybe and ultimately life of engine. Dave Ingram was talking to me about it but I may have got it wrong as I can't understand the accent. ;D

If you have two side doors you're sorted anyway.
