Did a 3 bed house today, loads of dog hair. The lady phoned me in a panic early this morning as the guy that turned up said that he could not remove dog hair with his system. How do you guys manage with this?

wrapped round a carpet rake, sticky side out, but thats more for cat hairs.

never had a problem with dogs hairs, they just get sucked up with all the pother crud and blx.

I find my vac (royal) gets 90% of it, and a rotary with poly brush will dislodge the rest.  You end up with it all balled up and scatter round the carpet, but normally extracts off OK.  Using higher airflow than a standard twin-vac porty really makes a difference picking up hair and fluff, because the wetter it is the harder it is to pick up..

Cut pile Polyprop, especially when matted down and worn is the hardest carpet to get hair off

i find one of the JML rubber brooms (wonder broom ) i think they are called, works a treat -  usually get a hand brush with it when you buy one which is great for stairs

Cat or dog slicker comb works.... But I wouldn't want to do a whole house with one!

I find a rotary with cotton pads does a fab job, with clumps of it just waiting to be vacuumed up at the end of the job.

vac and rotary does the job, tried wonder broom but handle kept breaking.
