Is anyone registered with NTR?  If so do you get any work through them? Or is it another waste of money?

Had a visit from their area "inspector" this week, deal is if u pass their criteria as a proffessionally, trained, insured, and ethical firm, u can join for £65+vat per month....can escape with 90 days notice so no big tie in.

Benefits (he said) average 5 domestic leads per month, plus regular holiday home work (but pay them 15% commission), and insurance work that needs to be bidded for.  Other benefits like free legal,tax., personnel, helplines etc.. Also stickers, logos for van, stationary etc.

My view is to give it a whirl for 3 months and test it.
What do u guys think?

Ask them to provide you with the names of 5-10 pepolpe who are with them that you can call to verify the work exists, as to the legal cover you can jion the Federation of Small business' and get all the cover a lot cheaper and probably market you local FSB membership for business

I did ask the guy for some tel nos of CC's reg with them - he has given me the number of the area MD to take it further.  I must say there was no hard sell with it all.

So is the Fed Small Bus worth joining ? Does anyone else get tangible benefits from this org?

I would have thought if you spent £65 on your on Marketing you would get 4 or five jobs plus  Plus the real cost could be £100 with commission.

Thanks Ian - I guess say, if i paid someone to deliver 2k leaflets (£60) on my returns to date i would get around 20 jobs - say £1600 - but might be over 2 months - also cost of leaflets would be £32. Difference is i know this marketing works!

Having said that - £65+vat for three months is not a fortune - might still give it a go.......

jacko you are paying far to much for delivery of leaflets. the going rate is £18-20 per 1000. also printing should be no more than £46.00 PER 10.000 FOR INFO ON PRINTER EMIAL ME

dan not sure what you mean. i do not use national distributors as i have mentioned before, and the reasons, i use retired persons from different areas. supply them with stret maps. and have strict stringent testing to see deliverys have taken place,

Just wondering Shirley, as just been quoted £40 per 1000 by a national distributor. Told them to do one & will do myself. How you get your oldies? Place an advert or just some of your pals?

dan i use a simple postcard in local shop winows around the area i want covering. e.mailme for best result, dont waste money with ig distribution teams
