Housing 21
« on: August 04, 2009, 04:13:57 pm »
Ive been asked to quote a job for Housing 21 , theyve already got a w/c that they arent happy with and ive had a tip off from the site manager what they are already paying (if he is telling the truth)!

My price would be a bit more than what they are already paying , (frames etc are minging) and the current w/c is doing them trad and not doing the frames and not turning up regular etc etc..

If any of you guys do work for them, do they always go for the lowest price and put up with a bad job, or would they pay more for a better job?

Also the site manager said they pay monthly by BACS, is this right?

I might go in slightly lower than normal on price because they have a few properties in my area?

Any help appreciated guys

I do housing 21 work and the tenants have the final say on who they use as they pay for it. If the current work is rubbish and they want rid then they may be willing to pay more but they are likely to have 3 quotes. Once your in and you do a good job then there is plenty of work. They only use contractors on their list. They pay monthly by bacs usually within the first few days ( I was paid yesterday ) and there is a lot of paperwork invloved. It should also be a 3 year contract so its worth having.
