Ideas on alternative Sebo Duo
« on: July 23, 2009, 05:17:46 pm »
Hi,

I was looking for an alterative to the Sebo Duo. They are £225.

Yes I know they are superb but I am trying to keep the price down.

So any alternative just untill I get a few jobs in for the new operator. Ive jsut purchased the HWE, CHEMICALS, SMALL Van. few other bits and bobs.

Cheers

Like Derek says do it the old fashioned way with a carpet brush, you need one anyway to set the pile.

The Duo is the lowest priced mechanical option. As Derek says use a carpet brush, keeps you fit. :)

And it won't be slower than with a sebo duo - it'll actually be much quicker if you get those arms pumping!

False economy operator will slow as the day goes on and will not make as good a job of agitating on the last carpet as on the first small price to pay for a better job at the end of the day IMO.

stain removal for you after pre spraying ~

Tony I agree with you. 100%

Unfortunately funds are lacking at present. I will move on to mor expensive pro equipment later as it builds.

The new operator will be with me most of the time and on a few jobs on his own.

Envirodry sell refurbed kit direct.

Drop them a mail: -

Great kit and if anything like the refurbed one we purchased they come cleaned up like new. They even threw in a spare set of gold brushes.

Two things: -

1) The clock on the forum is 12 hours out.

2) Just looked back and we paid £250 + VAT and Carriage for an E30 (Gen3).

Got it and replied

Don’t get me wrong blinding on my carpets (one must elevate no dark socks due to tv feet etc etc) tried it on a trashed one it bounced about won’t take any lower than £50quid, could possible do a side by side with Envirodry (not mine) this Sat morning.

Got text yes but you need to see above.

Right OK, Cant blame me for trying.

OK Deal sold. Blowers, I look at what you mean reggarding the side by side..  have not got a clue what you mean, I also probably have the Sebo as well if I dont have the side by side. It depends on the amount on the side by side thingy!

Anyways Let me know what time saturday. This Saturday 25th July

Cheers
