Mobiles
« on: July 21, 2009, 03:23:33 pm »
Went to Vodafone shop as it was time to upgrade my phone.
The one I wanted wasn't on the free upgrade list and I was told
that on my contract it would be £125.
Let me think about it I said.
Pub that night mentioned it to a friend of mine who has the phone
I want and he said try online it will be cheaper.
Got it next day for the princely sum of £21 and some pence.
What's all that about??

700 anytime mins, unlimited texts, and free wk/end calls to 02 custimers... 20 a month...i had a range of options open to me....also i can cancel this at any time...and churn to another network...usually i call up every 6 months, and state im unhappy with my exisitng service and wish to cancel my contract in favour of another network.the operator will speak to a manager/supervisor, come back on and make me offers to keep me...if only they'd offer a pump upgrade to my powermax...

Just bought a Samsung Solid Extreme, has a loud ring tone for when the machine is on, noise cancellation for when talking in a noisy environment, dirt proof, water proof if you like talking underwater, shock proof. My phone has to withstand everything that I can throw at it.

I like the Samsung with the rubberised cover which allows you to operate it with wet hands......always use a bluetooth earphone when driving or working so I don't miss any calls

I'm getting hacked off with my samsung. I will have a perfectly fine signal strenght and I get a text to say I just missed a call. I then have to pay to pick up the message. >:(

I am with O2 got a blackberry curve and 2 LG cookies, one for her indoors and the little one.
All on 1 contract, 700 mins unlimited texts, free o2 to o2, 10 landline numbers free, can pick up all emails and send,
little one only texts and me and her use the free mins,

All on O2 business tarrif 47 a month, so other 2 phones are tax deuctable basicly

It's got it's limitations Derek, it does'nt cancel out the noise of the wife talking.
