Hi Guys

I'm looking at the ninja 400psi dual heat machine but just wanted to hear what people have to say about them???

Are they light to lift up and down stairs???

what i remeber of them that they are heavy and best to use a extension to do up stairs if you have that choice mate

I've got the 400psi Ninja with the single coil heater, doesn't heat the water quicker enough for me but performs okay.
Also have the Perfect heat which obviously provides better heat but is much bigger & heavier than the Ninja, IF I have to take a machine upstairs I will always take the Ninja.

Why would you need to take it up and down stairs? Are you referring to an apartment block? If not then why not get a 15 metre hose like me? I fit it to my Excel and you can do the upstairs without needing to hoist the machine upstairs!!

Got mine 4 weeks ago and it's taken my cleaning to another level.
Doesn't take that long to heat up if you put fairly warm in to start with.
Do that first and by the time you've set up and pre - sprayed the water's
boiling.Get the steammate with it and it's incredible what it will shift.
I got a 25 foot length with it and he threw a 50 foot length in with it
instead of a wand.
With that sort of length I have yet to try the stairs.
Weighs about 45kg.

The weight isn't so important for getting up and down steps, it's the balance of the machine - its centre of gravity...which is very good on the ninja for steps.  Takes a little practice but you soon get the knack.

Just don't try to bring it back down with the waste tank full

hose lengths, not usually an issue, i have cleaned 2nd floor flats ,leave machine in communal hall, long electric extensions and then 25 and 50 foot hoses mated togehter,velcro the cables and hoses to to the bannisters first!!

TERRIFIC machine
as for service being the pits depends on where you go .Ashbys at Dartford  are really good ,always go out of their way to get you back out on the road again and even give you a tea while you are waiting . I think the pits part of Ashbys is at Sittingbourne where the head office is .

What is the steam mate then

do you think it would be ok to leave machine at bottom of stairs and say go up to 4th or 5th floor with the pressure on the machine??

can you get a scubber machine to work with it or would i not need 1

There is mixed things about Ashbys.

I am at this present moment deciding wether to purchase a machine from them. Nothing as fine as a Ninja (I wish). Just a sensei with a heater, 135 pump But its hard deciding what machine is right.

I have used a dual heat machine with 400 psi and vac booster for nearly 3 years. It is heavy but I always carry 75ft of hoses which covers nearly all domestic work. The machine always stays outside. The machine is very versatile. I had to change the pump and motor after two years, no probs with vacs.

But I will have to decline as I spoke to a supplier yesterday and I missed a bargain. Capital Cleaning in Kent said he had a Ninja top spec and sold it for £525 and apparently it was in good nick.  so I am annoyed I did not ask him earlier.

I have had some good offers on this forum from people selling their machines but they have been to far away for me. Which is a shame.
