When I had a Bane I did have it in a LWB VW transporter which was about 9 ft long, it did come out of a SWB VW but there wasn't enough room to put anything else in so I would recommend a Medium Transit and I'd go for a medium roof also.

I cut the waste tank down in size and have turned it to fit sideways, it was in a swbase tranny,
Its in a toyota hiace now.

Cheers for the replies so far... Any chance you have pics on setups.

Could be interested in moving tank, but to be fair I do some very large commercial so couldnt really cut the tank too small..

Andi,
Don't go for a high top u can't get them under barriers or into a car wash stick to a low roof transit thats what I have.
Bane base unit 60 gal plastic tank which I had made to measure with a 3K immersion heater in the side to heat water overnight. Then I run it through an Ashby Steamate. Take the wheels and handles off as u can't use it as a portable anyway. Put a larger pulley wheel on the vac belt to give more airflow and u can get 250 psi out of the pump if u turn it up. Put a remote control on the plug and u can turn the machine on/off from wherever u r working.
Regards, Martin.

Andi
What u got to be carefull about is the weight issue especially if u r using ss waste and water
tanks. i got pulled over by the fuzz twice - each time I was just under - I had a empty waste
tank. That was when I had the old style traffic van.

Martin - what size pulley and belt do u use on the Bane.

Terry,
The standard pulley on the motor is 9cm but you can put a 10cm on and the standard belt will fit, it gives a bit more flow.
Cheers, Martin.

Careful you don't overtighten the drive belt it can knacker the bearings.
