I had a job the other day to do a big con roof and I didn't fancy it off a ladder. I brought along my trestles and planks and they were a great job. I could reach right to the far side of the roof and had good mobility by not being restricted to a ladder.

I have never seen them mentioned before, am I missing some really obvious reason why I shouldn't be using them?

i dont know really but just guessing, maybe their just to big and clumsy to take through the house, because they are bloody awkard to move around, less risk of a claim i suppose

I'm not too sure but if theyre the type that we used to call bandstands they were made illegal about five years ago

I do a job in Oxford where the back of the building stands over part of the river and its a nightmare to clean.      just wish I had some sort of trestle to use as a platform as it would make things so much easier
