I prefer travelling around so im not bothered. I charge per hour on each job, and i charge well, so i get the better paying customer, generally in the country.

But i have noticed that there are many guys fighting (not literally) for the same work in housing estates.

How do you do the your pricing by the hour - It might sound stupid but i havent heard of this before

I understand this to mean that GWCS works out what his hourly rate would be when working in compact areas, then makes sure he gets at least as much per hour when working in a remote area such as a farmhouse etc. If he includes traveling time then he would not lose out on earnings. Hope this helps.
