Hi Guys
I would suggest that a price structure should involve more than a minimum charge and should give you the confidence to price with credibility.
I have a reasonably set price for 1 room, subsequent rooms, hsl, 3 piece suite, 3 bed house.
These are the prices at which I am happy to do the cleaning, I will only go lower in exceptional circumstaces but ease of cleaning can be one, obviously an empty 3 bed house with a drive is pretty quick with a TM and can be discounted if neccessary.
Another factor is payment method, less for immediate payment, more for invoice, particularly if I know it may take a bit of time.
Conversely I have factors which increase price, such as travel. hassle, how much I want to do the job, degree of difficulty etc.
Setting prices needs to reflect what you want/need to earn, local competitive charge, obviously London is more expensive than the sticks, your skill level, have you a unique sales advantage etc.
Look at quality businesses in other industries, are their prices the same all year round, does supply and demand affect them, are payment method/ terms a factor ?
Cheers
Doug
