A merlin is an RO unit, and for less than £100 off this guy it will produce more than enough water for you  ;)

Does it need/use a DI

My water pressure is really loooooooooooooooow, will it need a pump and if so the price of them seems high.

Which is obviously going to boost costs.


....but I do appreciate that if I decide to go bigger, the merlin will accomodate it.

As far as filters and membranes go, you would get change from an average of £100 a year.
