Fiddling Tax for windowcleaners
« on: May 14, 2009, 09:32:26 pm »
Apparently it's fine to fiddle the tax man out of thousands just as long as you say sorry when you get caught and write the cheque out?
Anyone going to give it a go?

I gave up voting years back. These people make me sick. They make and bend the rules to suit themselves. >:(

Total hypocrites & worse, and they even try to justify their actions and plead ignorance.

 Scum. >:( >:( >:(

This should be on the chat section really.............  those scum who supposedly run our country really do make me sick, any normal member of the public would be on criminal charges, and as for just fessing up and paying back the money when he was found out.....jeeze!
I hope he gets prosecuted, would go a little way to restoring a tiny amount of faith in the system...but of course we all know that no one is going to be done...it is all so sickening it really is.

I live in Holland and pay my taxes here but somehow when I watch BBC1 each morning and continue to be amazed by the revelations of pure greed I am so angry...

Agreed that many of them are working they system within the very wide rules but for some reason I just would like to think that MP's should be made of better stuff...but perhaps it is us that are in the wrong for beleiving that the words' The Right Honourable Member' is just that...a word.

Shame on those who have their noses so deeply in the trough...pity those who around the UK really need an life saving operation today but due to lack of funds will die. A bit dramatic but sadly could be true.

I just hope that when each and every mp or future mp is canvassing for thier posts in the next election...the first question from every voter is ' show me your expense claims from the past 7 years'...watch them choke on their honour.

I hope that this information is not forgotton by the public and that come voting time...these mps can be answerable to those who they seek a tick.

Dave.

You missed out one important bit.  We can't meet up regularly to set our own rules.  It astonishes me (no it doesn't really) that most MPs are saying that they keep within the rules whilst omitting that they are the ones that make those rules in the first place.
I wonder if they have to pay penalty charges like someone does if they mess up their tax return.
Please don't move this to the chat section ~Ian.  It's likely to be read and posted to more on this section.

What makes it all very corrupt is the fact that they are all jumping now and making payments back for the fraudulent amounts they claimed in the first place.
I watched sky news this morning and they had an interview with the justice minister (now that's a contradiction in terms) and he thought he had done nothing wrong yet was going to donate money to his constituency for claims he made for a home entertainment surround system... ::)
There must be some MP'S who actually do the right thing, although we have yet to here about them (and i would personally like to appluad those that do the moral thing),but it does seem that the majority of MP's have entered the job to line their own pockets..perhaps they see it as a perk of the job....greedy B a s t a r d s . >:(
