Thanks p holly and pingu could nt agree more ,i was beginning to think i was surrounded by amateaurs and those who have another form of income.This is our biggest problem convincing clients it s o k to work when it s wet when you get idiots in the same area saying we don t,no wonder they are still doing the same things they have been doing for years same rags slung over shoulder etc. cheers mick

i am building my business up through recommendation and do not lose a percentage of customers etc during the 2 years so far and i think this is down to looking at things from my customers point of view and that includes if someone came to do my windows when it was raining i would tell them where to go. they may not complain now but later on they may to their friends neighbours and possible future contacts you will never now see.

well i 'v been building 17 yrs and still building ...and i work in the rain... it would be physically impossible to service my round if i didnt work in wet weather, ... :

it doest bother me that other wc dont work in the rain... thats their choice , but i prefer to count my money at the end of the day rather than have an empty kitty ...

Works both ways, no point in calling people amateurs/idiots/ just because they don't agree with you is there?
I have great respect for Pingu etc, it's his choice how he or others work I don't refer to him as an idiot or an amateur - it's just personal choice  :

I tell people that rain makes no difference, cos it doesn't make any difference.
As I say to people all that happens is that I get wet.

Heavy rain I go home, light rain you should crack on, and then when you have done your work and the sun is shining.
