It`s always better if the diameter of the hose is slightly thicker than normal ie clear braided 1/2,the hoselock hose is thinner and dosen`t get gripped as well.

You wont find any hoselock hose on my system, ive just totally rehose my whole van system and my static with the thick yellow, red and blue hose, not one leak.

sorry must of sounded confusing, its all seperate hose, yellow is water in, blue for system which is now in van too and red for waste.
