Hi Richy,

The guys are only specialised in window cleaning canvassing, if that's what you're after?

Daniel, you're right - I have tried before. I did indeed offer my services here, and had some folks take me up on the offer, regrettably, not without some problems. I think I must have been too laid-back with my approach, as I've had countless problems collecting payments from people for canvassed work. This has left me in a right pickle, financially.

It led me to take it more seriously, with a website, complete with new rates, and Terms And Conditions to protect myself and my canvassers.

Feel free to check it out:

I've already canvassed work for some people, and I plan on getting some testimonials up there on the site.

Many thanks for your help ;-)

Scotty that website needs some work mate.
It is far to long winded to grasp the facts.
Also who works for £40 per day including travelling etc etc.....surely that must be wrong?

Ah well good luck to you for trying. :)

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the feedback, but after doing this for a while, and having customers take advantage of my previous, laid back approach, I've gradually, over time, learnt to cover my bases.

The website may be long-winded, but it has to be that way to protect myself and my teams, whom have initially been left waiting for money that is rightfully theirs. I'm a nice guy, but unfortunately, that's not enough. Business is business, I guess.

Anyhow, I've had new clients sign-up to work with the new program, and have, thus far, been happy with the results. Seems to be working out, but I'll keep you posted, of course ;-)

As for the £40 per day, again, that is to safeguard myself and my canvassers from not being paid for work they've done. Again, new customers have come on board with this.

Nevertheless, any feedback is good, and I appreciate yours, Daniel.

Regards to all,

Scotty
