Got your ladders back out and had a look at the upstairs sills (especially first cleans) those of us with wfp - they are often dreadful.

Most times, I inspect the first floor window frames BEFORE I start the first clean - and take the opportunity (where necessary) to clean just the tops of the frames (above the 'openers') and the sills.
After the first clean - I've never looked since - I'm just assuming that they've stayed acceptably clean.

It's not a problem with an adjustable goosneck or sill brush. But with a fixed goosneck it can be tricky.
I think for both methods, the trick is to turn off the flow after scrubbing, and drag the brush over the sill, dragging the dirt off the sill instead of flushing more stuff out of the little gap between the frame and the sill.

Most customers wouldn't even bother to look hopefully, I occasionally give them a brush off and keep the outer edge clean as that's where they will notice, I always wipe the bottom sills with a cloth though as it gives me the chance of spotting any problems with the windows before I leave.

When i used a standard Vikan Brush it was rubbish on the sills.
When i finished i used to put a damp applicator on a standard pole and just wipe the sill with that.
