[Doctor Carpet (Ret'd)]

Just wanted to say I've been out celebrating.

Today is the 10th Anniversary of me becoming Doctor Carpet.

9th April 1999 was the day I took legal ownership. Paid a ton of money for it and then in the first week the phone didn't ring. Panic!

It's just got better and better since then.

I've learnt a lot, become fitter and stronger. Become less stressed. Made a lot of friends out of clients and made a lot of friends out of contempories  (thank you, you lot on the forum).

I work less hours than I did in my previous life (although they may be physically harder), and, oh yes, the money is much better as well.

I do hope the rest of you have had as interesting last 10 years as I have had.

To the next decade!

Sincere congratulations on achieving your landmark!  I bet you've seen a fair few changes over the years.  It's good to look back and see how far you've come
