im just about to put in an order with gardiners so i can claim it off my next bill, anyhow im gonna get the xtel 24ft and was wondering if anybody knows whether i can remove the bottom section of this and use it as a four section, also cant decide on superlite brush dual trim or single trim... whats the difference??

You can remove a section. The best way to use the pole like this is to undo the bottom clamp band and remove the section. Re-assemble the clamp on the base section. Fit a new base cap and also you will need to remove the stop-tape so that you can slide the spare section on when needed. You will need to replace the tape with some kind of line/mark to indicate overlap stop. One way is to mask up a band around the pole at the right place, lightly sand the surface and then paint bright coloured nail varnish on and allow to dry.

You will also need to fit an in-line John Guest 8mm push fit connector to fit somewhere on the pole hose to allow disconnection of the pole hose so that the section can be slid on and off when needed.

what if i get one of the eazy snap bell connectors to put after my belt tap or can you get a belt tap that just disconnects?

thanks alex got that and it looks ideal, two of them and one tap and then i only need one tap for 2 poles.

any preferences on which one of the super lite brushes for mainly domestic?

Mainly domestic - I would go for the flocked (black bristle) brush. It is the fastest and easiest brush to use.

No go dual trim, flocked for 1st cleans yes but for every day use the dual trim is better.

Have to admit...I have a range of Alex's brushes and at the moment I find the flocked brush is my favorite on the SL-X, on the Facelift c/f 44ft I prefer the Dual trimmed mono...but brushes are all about horses for courses I am afraid...if the Vikan range were lighter I would still be using those...great brushes but a tad heavy.
