Internal WFP.......
« on: March 31, 2009, 07:13:51 pm »
There's a system on eBay from Omnipole but no one in the factory seems to know anything about it! I'd like to know if it's nearly as fast ad external wfp fix I gotta get me quoted down for inside institutional buildings.
Anyone got any further with devtloping the flash power mop?

Kevin.

Found it....... Its actually for sale from VARITECH as its made by VIKAN and the whole kit from them is around £60. Got 1 of them and it is really good. Reaches in to all the corners and very quick to learn.

Mr H,

Forgot to ask, how much quicker, if at all, is it compared to squeegie on insides?

There is a Swedish and german brochure but nothing in English yet........

ITs quicker because you don't need to use ladders indoors. Just spray the window and wipe around. I don't use trad in doors I usually use spray bottle and microfibres which is awkward for high reach.  The base section of that Easi-clean will fit standard thread plastic adapters. Just spray the window or the cloth and off you go. It does seam really wierd to use at first but once you get in to the swing of it its good. Once up to proper speed I would say that if the window was in front of you then probably as quick as single handed trad cleaning (Not the fancy 2 handed as in the speed freaks)
For higher windows then definatly quicker........

PS.... Its called the Easi-Shine Kit and its £61.40 + vat

I've notice Omnipole don't mention its a Vikan system and the wording does seam to suggest that Omnipole have designed it.
They have even doctored 1 of the Vikan pics to read Omnipole........ I hope they have Vikans permission to do that.....

I've only got one van so I doubt Omnipole would sell me one.  ;)

Strikes me the best way to use this way of cleaning is to be able to operate a trigger to mist the window via the pole & pad. Not too keen on the little spray bottle. This could be where the backpack comes in. Also if there was hot water in the b/pack then the cleaning will be quicker & more evaporation willmean the pad stays drier longer.
Ideas?

Kevin.
