Need advice

Although I already do carpet & upholstery cleaning and have done for over six years I am going to expand into patio & driveway cleaning.I have noticed that nobody seems to advertise this service in the areas I cover.I have already spoken to several regular carpet cleaning customers and the feedback seems quite possitive so I have gone ahead and bought a cold water high pressure washer rotar wash etc and have done some demos.Mail out and leaflets going out this weekend.Sorry to deliver you with a fate acomply but I would like to hear from anyone doing same because if it takes of I will run it alongside carpet & Upholstery cleaning.
Need to know if any pitfalls, how seasonal & if much commercial work is available for this type of system and where I can get a lance guard from to stop all the crap either hitting me or the surrounding area and can I do carpets with the rotor wash ;D

I am in the east Cheshire area so sorry if I am about to tread on anybodys toes with this, you should have advertised

Davy,

If you have spare capacity, this can be a useful path to follow. Mike has done likewise and finds it a change from rug-sucking.

To get a good over-view of what is involved and a great deal of advice on equipment etc., visit the Pressure Washing section at www.another forum.co.uk

Dont forget to upgrade your public liabilty for this service as chances of a stone breaking glass is always a possibility. I clean a few patios in a year and it makes a change from the usual, back breaking dirty work though!

 good luck
