hi matt at the bottom of the pump , on mine there is a black plastic casingtry taking it off , there is a screw there to adjust the pressure tighten it up, see what happenshad the same prob the week before :its fine now hope this helpsmike

If the switch looks the same then it probably is the right one (although it is a micro-switch not a pressure switch) and at £1.50 why not give it a try.
Matt, sorry this is off topic, but could you put a link up as to where you buy your pumps and which specific model is it?Cheerz dude.....
Matt if your using a controller I didn't think you needed a pressure switch..You don't on the bigger pumps... you disconnect it..What pump are you using? (Model Number etc)
Matt, that Maplin micro switch definately fits the Shurflo pumps but unsure whether it also fits the Flojet
