It often works out more than that for smaller rooms as I have a minimum charge,

if you charge £5-£6 per metre what is your % booked on quoted jobs?

I charge £3.50 quote over the phone and get a 7/10 conversion, I got back from a 1 week break to get 53 answer phone messages, the cost of going out in time (which is the expensive bit and the petrol) I'd get nothing done so if I get 37 of these jobs it'll book me up without leaving the comfort of my home, now if anyone wants to put that into a equassion you'll probably find that this may work out to £6 per metre or THE HOURLY RATE that I want!

I've just got back from 2 weeks and only had 17

plus the final copy of my YP ad came through the post while i was away full of mistakes and I've missed the deadline to have them corrected

If I can't fix them on monday they won't get paid
