Which pole?
« on: February 20, 2009, 08:29:27 am »
Looking for a new pole, atleast 28". Have been on all the websites and ended up with a bad head. Its like a minefield! I have about £350 to spend and want a good lighter pole than the tree trunk I'm using at the mo  ???

Your budget and lightness are the deciding factor here. Your choices can include:

Hybrid Xtel-28ft £290 (inc brush, +VAT) actual length = 28ft, 2.3kg
Facelift-29ft Glass Fibre £369 (inc brush +VAT) actual length = 26.5ft 2.9kg
Brodex Hydra-31ft £323 (inc brush, +VAT)actual length =  28ft ?kg

What do you think of the HXTEL 28" Hybrid? Seems to be quite good, weight wise. Don't know about reliability!

24" aluminium from Brodex. Seems to weigh about 50kg when extended. Its about time I invested!

Told you so, forget brodex & hybrid crap, the slx will pay it's way very quickly in many ways. ;)
