Did a house today and a lot of black residue came off the rubbers around the windows. What is the best thing to clean it off the window frames?

any upv cleaner. Costs 3 or 4 quid a bottle in bnq, homebase etc.

tried both but results were not great. there must be some chemical that can give better results.

Upvc restorer, will get it off, I think b&q sell it, last time i got some it was about £6 for a very small bottle, but worked a treat

just get some cif or jif and pour it on a rag and rub it of,worked for me also when you clean the pvc rubbers try not to smear the black stuff around the frames...

Thanks guys, I used the wfp but the water ran pure black from the rubbers and seemed to stain the pvc as it dried.
