Laddatec limpets
« on: February 18, 2009, 09:33:18 pm »
Had to use my ladders to access a flat roof today (higher than your normal garage roof) the ground was cobbled, wet and green and i could barely stand on it. Fixed the limpets and up the ladder i went. I tried to make it slip away whilst stood near the base but it wouldn't budge. Very impressive bit of kit.
Don't know if they could slip if i got above second storey level but at the height i was at today they were rock solid.

I hated ladders but these make it possible for me to get up to the guttering with a new found confidence. Just waiting for some ladder mats to arrive now.

They can slip on welsh slate that is wet or green, so take care when using it on this type of flooring but apart from that they are a great bit of kit.

make sure they fit your ladder, before you buy them. i brought some last year and didnt measure the size of the rails on my ladder and they didnt fit.
