I'd like a reasonably priced trollry system.
« on: February 18, 2009, 07:38:37 pm »
After having been at this lark for 28 years doing it the traditional way, I'd like to have a go with a wfp system. Trouble is, to me they seem like a blinking rip off. Does anyone know where to go for a complete system reaching no higher than 30 feet with filtration system etc for a reasonable price. I don't trust e-bay & would rather deal with peeps in the trade i.e. here!

www.cleantech.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=381

This is just a trolley system you would need to add a pole and depending on the TDS of your water either a DI bottle or an RO and static tank

They got a website at least.
But what a horrible website. It ties my computer up while loading. Eventually.

Yep. At least i've got as catalogue for them. What a poor, time consuming disappointment that is for a website. My comp does nothing else when clicking on something there.

So many different trolleys . Are all trolleys start up ready? or would i need to buy extras? Whats the best trolley package to buy which has everything ready to go and all i would need to do would be to fill it up

I think that online price book was great, shame about the high prices though.
They do really need a website, maybe I should call them.

Build your own, with a submersible pump, a small battery from maplin and a sack barrow, oh and a 25 litre drum

Job jobbed for less than a £100.

Who cares if it doesn't look 'cool' it works...

At what rate does the sub-pump pump? A  shurflo 100psi runs(usually) at 1lt per min whilst working, this includes swithing on and off.

Personally, I designed 2 trolleys that carry 2 30lt drums(IMHO far superior to the 25 lt freedom), had them fabricated, and attached all the gubbins(pump, varistream, piping, steel reel(hilds 100mt microbr, ect.) myself.

The 2 trolleys have been to put it politely, bombproof, 3 yrs dowm the road and still fine.  The only thing I've had to replace is the tyres(pneumatic), wear and tear!

Make no mistakes, this is not sales speil or a front, I just question how a "decent trolley" can be built for £100??

The aforementioned systems cost me approximately £470 to build myself and are still motoring along same as the day they were built.

The morall of the story...you get what you pay for, and sometimes you can make a far superior job yourself!

51mcn :)

Anybody looking for a trolley should check out the one Omnipole are selling on Ebay its about £275 its the same trolley Andrew Mc Cann use to sell ive been using it for nearly 3 months its brilliant not had a problem with it.I bought mine of redhat diving £180+delivery the hose that comes with it is crap but got Cleantech to fit 10m of minibore to it holds 35 litre its got a flo control with 5 settings usually keep it on number 3 these trolleys are brilliant for the money when you consider some trolleys are going for about £700+.
