I don't see the point... You would earn more moving on and cleaning someone elses windows rather than faffing around cleaning cars?

i just tell them this  " i do clean cars but i am sure you wont like my prices!"

that normally kills the conversation but if they do carry on, just tell them that you will do it for £50.....

no sweat off your nose if they say no, but result if they say yes......... ;D

not a good idea then they will think the price they are paying for the windows is to much, better just to tell them you speacilise in window cleaning and wouldnt have time to run a valeting business alongside it.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

I don't. If they are seriously asking (very rare) I usually play the "wrong" type of brush or it'll contaminate the windows afterwards sort of excuse. (like I do when I can't be bothered to do a minging cons. roof ;D)
It's a game of three halves!

I clean one of my custys cars. He pays good money for his window clean and in exchange for his 5 minute car clean I get a big fat cigar. We're both happy with the arrangement. I wouldn't do it normally, and certainly wouldn't want to advertise it!

I do one occasionally for a nice old lady, but to be honest it takes me longer than her windows, cars always covered in leaves and tree sap  ::)
its a freebie though as she introduced me to her neiighbours in a private cul de sac and pays well, always get tea and choccy bickies too  :D
