I have used both the Bentley flocked and monofilement, the latter looking worse for wear after I washed it in water that was too hot.
there are loads of cheap brushes out there that can give excellent results, far better than the Vykan I started off with.

i think vikan are the best brushes out there, ok slightly heavy, but not that bad, you would think a company like that would be on the ball to make it much lighter

The new flocked superlite brush and if i do say so myself had i not niggled Alex for days on end it probobly wouldn`t have come to light,this brush does everything and more than the vikan does but weighs about 1/3 of it you hardly feel it on the pole.
