There's a few in the South Hams of Devon, nice people and very down to earth , in touch with reality.

I'll admit the price was steep enough,.. but ppl like that expect perfection, and the windows are all 21 panel timber Georgian sash and could have been problematic, so I quoted enough to cover washing every window twice the first time.

His PA sent me an aerial photo of the place,.. but I'm not allowed to show anyone!!! The place is fantastic tho. He paid 3 million for it,. then spent 30 million doing it up!!!

Given the opportunity to quote again, I'd happily cut my quote in half,.. I wouldn't mind making a loss on a job like that!!

:)

Houses like his always look good on your c.v don't they. If you're good enough to clean his place, you're good enough to clean anyones!  :) Go back and re-quote!!!!

We once did one & none of us new him. He had famous comedian do funny dance/walk to it for charity & it reached no 1. Didn,t do it for long, long storey, but, not prepared to be messed about even if your famous. (His son was his manager & supposed to pay all his bill, fine when the builder payed first six months, took forever to get it of him, i ought to put the letter up that i sent that would make a few people laugh, i cant but the jist was just cause you are famous it doesnt mean you dont pay w/c.)

I priced up the property belonging to an ex Formula One World Champion a couple of weeks ago.

Matt, you and I need to compare notes. We priced this one up about 12 months ago.
'Ell of a place but the politics in getting it done far outweigh the efforts ;)

Obvoiusly it's not best practice to compare notes on a site like this.
