Set out for work about 5-30 am today drove about 2 miles had to return home
6 inches of snow no gritters and its going to get worse.

Roads are a nightmare here in North London
its still snowing heavily and a lot more forecast
Supposed to go to Heathrow area but no chance

There are no buses running in London at all
railways disrupted looks like its going to grind to a halt schools have been closed

It doesn't look too bad here in Chepstow, South East Wales; it's cold and there's a few light snow flakes blowing around.

Shame really, 'cos I wanted loads of snow; I know a great hill closeby for sledging on.

Our first job this morning is an inside only (OCS do the outside  ), so we'll see how we get on with stuff freezing on us after that.

Not snowing in Portsmouth at the moment. About 2 inches here, but some roads not gritted, so like an ice rink now. My brother has already had someone slide into the back of his van this morning.  :
